Yukon Quest musher Yuka Honda, her handler Deb Knight and Petunia, a retired sled dog visited Selkirk Elementary School to show students what goes into a Quest sled. There's mandatory gear, and good to have gear.

Although the sled was interesting, Petunia was the star of the presentation:
Petunia is 13 years old. She does not run the Quest. She really liked all the pets and attention. But she also likes naps.
