Wilderness
After I lifted my dogs out of the water I tried to get out myself. Water was already beginning to build up in my big baggy clothes so it got heavier. Then I remembered the knife in my pocket. I pulled out the knife and stroked it as hard as I could ito the ice and pulled my self out.
Once I got out I pulled out my sled losing all my supplies in the water. My dogs were all shaking some laid there on top of each other, I laid there myself and tried to keep my self warm.
I laid for a little while which seemed liked forever hoping another team would come or a plane. The cold came to me right away knowing that I’m going to get hypothermia I tried to get up but my legs and arms were frozen it felt like. I guess I had laid there for an hour then finally a plane noise.
I couldn't wait to finally be rescued. Looking over at the sled I saw that the dogs were still there. Then a couple of people came over and picked me up they loaded me into a single engine plane with my dogs then soon the plane took off.
